12. List different types of accidents and sudden illness that may occur at work


There are many different types of accident or sudden illness that can occur at work.

Many are similar to what can happen when you are going about your personal life. There will be higher risks with some of the people you work with due factors like their mental capacity, medical conditions and physical ability.

At work, you have a duty of care to safeguard the people so it is important that you have an awareness about the types of accidents and sudden illnesses that can occur so you can plan in advance what action you would take. This will reduce the risks and prepare you to act faster which could ultimately save the life of someone you are working with or even your own life. 

These are some of the typical types of accidents and sudden illness that may occur in the course of your work:
