4.1 Introduction

This module  demonstrates and explains how to apply the second solution to the client's
eyelashes, as part of the eyelash lift treatment.Understand  closely and make sure that you follow the manufacturer's instructions when
practising the treatment yourself.

4.2 Apply the Second Solution

Explain to the client that you are applying the second solution, which is a fixing solution.
This ensures that the eyelashes are fixed into their new, curled and lifted shape. Again, ensure that
you have selected the correct product, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

1. Apply the product to the back of your hand or into your solution holder

2. Apply to the eye in exactly the same way as you applied the first solution, but, this time,
ensure that you coat the whole length of the lashes with the product

3. Apply quite thickly, as you don't want to have to redo this step

4. Cover the whole length of every lash, checking your progress closely, to make sure that you
leave no lashes uncoated

5. Check your work with your magnifying light, and make any further adjustments required

6. Set a timer for 8-10 minutes (as per the manufacturer's instructions), and move on to the other
eye, setting a timer for the second eye in due course
