A personal data breach is more than just losing someone’s personal data. It can be anything which causes the destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised sharing or access to personal data.
It doesn’t matter if it was an accidental or deliberate, it is still a breach .
That’s right! Almost any form of communication or sharing of information could be risky and lead to a data breach.
